Cator, Ruma & Associates was selected to provide the mechanical, electrical, and technology design and contract administration services for the 34,000-square-foot renovation of Haxtun School District’s elementary school and a 8,450-square-foot addition to the existing middle school.

The project included an overhaul of HVAC systems within the elementary school. The new, progressive HVAC design makes use of a water source heat pump system for energy efficiency. In addition, classroom technology upgrades in both the elementary and middle schools were included within the project. Security measures were also added to the main entrances of the schools as part of the project.
