Cator, Ruma & Associates is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a minimum of 2-3 years of communications experience in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as part of a team, often under the pressure of tight deadlines. This position is an in-office position with a strong focus on production. Familiarity with (including previous employment in) the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
Typical Responsibilities Include Assisting the Marketing Director with the Following:
- Reports directly to the Marketing Director
- Preparing marketing information for clients including proposal and presentation development
- Maintenance/upkeep of qualification information and photo/resume databases
- Preparing responses to RFQs/RFPs
- Website and social media updates
- Tracking marketing opportunities
- Administrative tasks such as routine typing of correspondence and filing
- Internal marketing (communications and assistance for company and staff events)
The candidate must have:
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Proficient computer skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience with social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Experience with simple graphic design is highly preferred
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with quick turnarounds
- Great attitude and willingness to take on tasks/give creative input
