Other portions of the building consist of a 7,400-square-foot pre-function area with a separate service corridor connecting to the kitchen, a 7,000-square-foot banquet/ kitchen accommodating a wide variety of food preparations for the Exhibit Hall, and 25,000 square feet of meeting rooms, training rooms, administrative areas, and hotel office space. Finally, the space also houses the historic Penrose Carriage Museum (8,300 square feet).

The museum serves as a leased space to the El Pomar Foundation for the historic Penrose Carriage Museum. The core and shell were designed for this space with electric, gas and water utilities metered separately for the Owner.

The mechanical systems consist of central station air handlers with chilled water and heating water coils. The supply fans on the air handlers incorporate variable frequency drives for part load control. Carbon dioxide monitors have been incorporated for demand control ventilation due to the highly variable occupancy of the Exhibit Hall Due to the high ceilings, a low-wall return system was incorporated to improve ventilation and thermal comfort. Mechanical utilities have been distributed throughout the perimeter walls of the Exhibit Hall consisting of hot and cold water, drains, compressed air and natural gas.

The existing remote central plant was expanded to accommodate this project. A new 400-ton centrifugal chiller and associated distribution was provided to serve the building. High-pressure steam from the existing boiler plant was distributed to the building to generate heating water, domestic hot water, and to serve snow melt functions.
