was selected as a sub-consultant to provide mechanical and
electrical engineering services and construction administration for a
replacement corrections facility in Logan County.
The new Logan County Justice Center houses approximately 110 inmates in the
Detention building, two District Courtrooms and one County Courtroom. The Center
includes the Sheriff’s Office, Coroner, Probation and District Attorney, along
with their associated office staff. Also included is a state-of-the-art kitchen,
laundry, and medical clinic. The Detention Center was built with a 360º view
from the guard station.
The Grand Opening was celebrated on August 20, 2003. The Center was completed
one month ahead of schedule and approximately $300,000 under budget.
