Medical Center of the Rockies
Loveland, Colorado

The Medical Center of the Rockies is a greenfield Hospital located in Loveland, Colorado.  Cator, Ruma & Associates was selected as a Sub-Consultant to provide the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, as well as construction administration for this 520,000 SF 170-bed facility.  The Hospital houses a Level II trauma center, emergency department, cardiac heart center, ICCU/SNICU units, a telemetry unit, surgical services/operating rooms, cardio cath lab and support services departments.  Construction began in 2004, the facility was completed in late 2006, and the grand opening was February 14, 2007.

A LEED_®-NC (New Construction) Gold rating is pending. This project will be certified under version 2.2.
