AutoCAD Drafter/Designer

Cator, Ruma & Associates is seeking an individual with 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter/Designer to join our firm. We need a conscientious, responsible individual who is knowledgeable in operating Revit and AutoCAD to draft and design HVAC and electrical power and lighting systems for commercial/institutional buildings. Having 3D CAD experience would be a plus.

IT/Desktop Support Technician

Cator, Ruma & Associates is seeking an IT/Desktop Support Technician with 1 to 2 years of previous experience. Job duties include responsibility for Windows desktop support (hardware and software). Experience in AutoCAD MEP/Revit MEP and/or VMWare applications is also desirable.

Lighting Designer

Cator, Ruma & Associates is seeking a skillful Lighting Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience.  We need a conscientious, responsible individual who can bring the right product and latest technologies to the right application.  Light is an element of space; to design lighting is to work with a material specific to each space.  The candidate must provide uncompromised attention to detail throughout a project and collaborate with the design and construction team to integrate lighting systems.  Job duties include project design, preparation of construction documents, producing marketing materials, engaging in an active marketing role, fee proposal preparation and tracking, and site involvement, primarily for architectural lighting design work.

Project Coordinator

Cator, Ruma & Associates is seeking for a fulltime Project Coordinator to join our firm.  We are looking for a detail oriented person with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the mechanical engineering atmosphere.  The candidate must have strong organization and communication proficiency as well as good written and verbal communication skills.  Job duties include submittal tracking, electronic submittal, reviewing submittals, preparing transmittals, RFI responses, maintaining hangsets and specifications, archiving closed projects, assisting engineers with electronic files and project sites, liaison with Architects and Clients, and maintenance of all project folders and files.  References which support past experiences will be mandatory.
